The Trump administration wants to increase logging in Oregon, which could dramatically impact residents near federal land. Ashli Blow talked with some of these residents and offers a deep look at how the proposal could affect the area. 

Low-income Springfield residents can apply for a program to fund home repairs, and Lillian Schrock-Clevenger spoke with two people who have benefited from the grants.

Tyson Alger was in Austin, Texas, watching the Oregon Ducks fall in the second round of the NCAA Womenโ€™s Basketball Tournament to Texas, 100-58.

Sabrina Gordon, former president of the Eugene Education Association, 4Jโ€™s teachers union, is suing the district for failing to adequately investigate and address rumors about her. As Lilly St. Angelo reports, Gordon’s lawyer is now asking the district for more than $29,000 in legal feesย for work she has already done, though the case is far from over.ย 

Ben Botkin went to a celebration of “Rosies” at Willamette Oaks over the weekend. “Rosies” were named after the famous “Rosie the Riveter” poster, which celebrated the women who kept the country running during World War II. Isaac Wasserman has great photos of the event.
