The Eugene-Springfield area’s bike-share program, PeaceHealth Rides, saw its highest ridership ever in 2025, city of Eugene officials say.
Riders across Eugene and Springfield took nearly 280,000 trips in 2025, a 39% increase in bike rides compared to the year before, the city said in a news release Feb. 19.
PeaceHealth Rides is a network of bike-share stations, where users can pick up and drop off publicly available bicycles for one-way trips in parts of Eugene and Springfield.
The program also welcomed 10,000 new members in 2025. Altogether, the program avoided more than 340,000 pounds of carbon emissions, according to the city’s news release.
Looking ahead, the bike share program may see more electrified options, such as e-bikes and e-scooters, as well as fleet upgrades funded by state transportation funds.
Riders can join the program through its website.
