United Airlines is adding two new daily direct flights between Eugene Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport starting April 30, 2026. 

A direct flight to Eugene will depart Chicago at 8:45 a.m. A flight to Chicago will leave Eugene at 12:30 p.m. The aircraft serving the roughly 4-hour route will be a Boeing 737 Max 8, with about 166 seats.

“The addition of service to O’Hare International Airport provides more nonstop travel options for the people in our region,” said Cathryn Stephens, Eugene Airport director, in a written statement. “We have a long-standing partnership with United Airlines and are excited for their addition of flights between Eugene and Chicago.”

Tickets are available for purchase online on United’s website. A search on United’s website, Oct. 23, listed a one-way ticket from Eugene to Chicago on the new direct flight at just over $1,300. The price for that flight fell to around $400 on Friday, Oct. 24.
