I want to add my two cents to the argument about the proposed Amazon distribution center near the Eugene Airport.

I’m fully opposed for many reasons: the additional burden on our already overwhelmed Eugene Water & Electric Board, the additional waste, the additional cost to our environment, to name a few.

I propose that Amazon go set up in Oakridge where there is plenty of space and a struggling economy. We don’t need any more big corporate takeovers in Eugene.
