Two leaders of Lane County museums will talk about their work helping to preserve and interpret Oregon’s past at the next meeting of the City Club of Eugene.

The meeting begins noon Friday at WOW Hall, 291 W. Eighth Ave. 

Scheduled speakers are Keith Lohse, the executive director of the Lane County Historical Museum, and Madeline McGraw, the curator of the Springfield Museum.

Lohse has been with the Lane County museum since February. He served for seven years as director of the Albany Regional Museum and also has worked for the Clark County Historical Museum in Vancouver.

McGraw has been the curator of the Springfield Museum since 2018. She has worked in history museums in Ohio, Alaska and Oregon and also serves on the board of the Laurel Grove Historic Cemetery. 

The City Club of Eugene explores significant local, state and national issues. Membership is open to all. Admission to its meetings is free.

The program will be livestreamed on the club’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Club meetings are broadcast Mondays at 7 p.m. on KLCC, 89.7 FM.Â
