Lane County commissioners approved an 18-month agreement with the Oregon Health Authority to put as much as $35 million in state funding toward behavioral health services that serve some of the county’s most vulnerable residents. It took quite a bit of negotiation to get to that point. Ben Botkin reports.
The county is taking more time to consider the purchase of a downtown property owned by Eugene School District 4J. The due diligence period on the Wells Fargo building will last through early March. Lilly St. Angelo has that one.
A Lane Community College subcommittee recommended approval of a three-year spending plan. The full Board of Education is scheduled to vote on the proposal at its meeting Wednesday.
